When you’re ready to give the work your full attention.

ART® & IFS℠ Therapy Intensives offer extended, focused sessions for people who want to dedicate meaningful time to what’s been weighing on them. Combining Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART®) and Internal Family Systems℠ (IFS℠), intensives create space for deeper, concentrated work without having to spread the process across months of weekly sessions.

An intensive gives you dedicated time to focus on what’s been weighing on you.

What is a therapy intensive?

An intensive is an extended therapy session designed to give you dedicated time and space to focus on a specific concern, experience, or therapeutic goal. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, which typically works within a 50-minute session, an intensive allows us to spend more uninterrupted time with the work without having to stop and pick it back up the following week.

Why choose an intensive?

An intensive may be a good fit when you want to devote focused time and energy to something you’re ready to work through. The extended format can help create momentum and allow us to stay with the work rather than repeatedly having to get back up to speed. More time does not mean more pressure. We can slow down, take breaks, reflect, and adjust the pace based on what you need. The goal is focused, meaningful work—not rushing through as much as possible.

An intensive might be a good fit if you…

  • Have a specific memory, experience, or pattern you’re ready to work through

  • Want dedicated time to focus on yourself and a particular therapeutic goal

  • Have a demanding schedule that makes traditional therapy difficult to maintain

  • Have done therapy before and are looking for a more focused format

  • Are traveling to Jacksonville or prefer the flexibility of a virtual intensive

  • Feel ready to devote meaningful time and energy to your therapeutic work

Why ART® & IFS℠ together

ART® & IFS℠ offer two complementary ways of working with difficult experiences.

ART® uses guided eye movements to help you reprocess distressing memories, images, and experiences so they feel less emotionally charged. IFS℠ helps you understand the different parts of yourself that may have developed to protect you, carry difficult experiences, or respond to stress in familiar ways. Combined in an intensive, these approaches allow us to work with both the nervous-system response and what may be underneath it. Together, they can help you not only work with the distress connected to a particular experience, but also better understand the patterns and protective responses that may continue to affect you today.

How it works

Every intensive starts with a consultation to talk about what you’d like to work on and determine whether an intensive is the right fit.

We’ll then create a plan based on your goals, needs, and readiness.

Your intensive may include one or more extended sessions of focused therapeutic work using ART® & IFS℠. Afterward, we’ll talk about what comes next and identify any support that may be helpful as you continue forward.
